Bride left stunned as pal steals £3,000 Benidorm hen do fund
A bride has been left devastated after her chief bridesmaid stole the £3,000 fund for her Benidorm hen party.
Nadine Kelly and 30 friends gave Charlene Whittaker cash to book the flights.
Days before the trip Charlene said the flights had been cancelled. But Nadine, 30, discovered her childhood friend had pocketed the money.
She told The Sun: 'I couldn't believe she'd do that to me.'
Errant bridesmaid Charlene has been given a community order by magistrates in Rotherham, South Yorks, and ordered to pay compensation.
