David Cameron spends Easter in sunny Cornwall

Updated

David Cameron took advantage of the hot April weather and treated his family to an Easter break in Cornwall.

The Prime Minister was spotted looking relaxed with baby daughter Florence strapped to his chest while he watched his children Nancy and Arthur Elwen enjoying a surfing lesson in Polzeath.

His wife Samantha was also on the break and the couple dressed down to mix with the other holidaymakers.

One tourist at the resort told the Daily Mail: 'David looked like he was having a brilliant time, despite saying that he really wanted to do some surfing.'

The Camerons seem to be big fans of Cornwall and were seen holidaying near Padstow in 2008 (pictured). They returned again last year where Samantha also gave birth to daughter Florence.

Earlier this month David Cameron treated Samantha to a low-cost birthday when he whisked her off to Spain on cheap flight with Ryanair.

The Prime Minister's not the only politician holidaying at home this Easter. Ed Milliband has been seen in Tenby, South Wales and Nick Clegg was spotted in Norfolk.
