Revealed! The world's smallest caravan!

Updated

We've seen compact caravans - but this takes the cake! Meet the world's smallest caravan, which measures just 6ft by 2ft 6ins and can be towed at up to six mph.

The bite-sized bedroom features a full-size mattress and TV, and all at a cost of £5,500.

The new caravan is towed by a mobility scooter, and is legally allowed to go wherever they're allowed to, including on the pavement or inside a supermarket.

The QTvan is so named because it caters to three peculiarly British obsessions: caravans; queuing and tea. The tiny caravan is ideally suited to queuing overnight for sales of tickets, like the Wimbledon fortnight, and boasts tea-making facilities to make any long wait bearable.

According to the Environmental Transport Association (ETA), the QTvan is ideal for the estimated 220,000 people who use a mobility scooter without breakdown cover, and who face the prospect of a very long wait should they suffer a mechanical fault or their battery runs flat.

Spokesman for the ETA, Yannick Read, seen here driving the QTvan, said: 'While our own mechanics aim to reach your stranded mobility scooter in forty minutes, if you don't have breakdown cover your options are to push something that weighs the equivalent of two men all the way home or call on a relative with a large car.'

Well, we love it just because it looks so cute!
