A brand new survey has revealed the UK's most popular hotels for extramarital sex. And the Hilton Metropole Birmingham has come top.
According to a survey by networking website Illicit Encounters, the Midland hotel is the country's most popular hotspot for a secret rendezvous. Oxford's Old Bank Hotel came second in the list, followed by The Hide in London and the Best Western Kings' Manor Hotel in Edinburgh in fourth place.
The poll received votes from 6,000 of its 570,000 members. The website claims to be a 'discreet and confidential extra-marital dating service.'
A spokesperson for the website said: 'The Metropole is accessible, affordable and lies on many major transport routes. Our members are looking for the right balance between comfort and practicality, and evidently the Metropole offers just that.'
