Traditionally, your parents' place is where the excitement happens, but it looks like Kate Middleton will be mixing it up and staying at a plush London hotel instead.
And which lucky hotspot has got the royal seal of approval? The £345 a night Goring Hotel in Belgravia, apparently.
The soon-to-be princess is thought to have decided against the Clarence Hotel, where Princess Diana stayed the night before her wedding to Prince Charles, and opted for the upmarket Belgravia-based spot.
It's also thought to be where guests of the royal wedding will lay their heads after the ceremony.
Surely that's the booking that every hotel in London was hoping for?
