It's a dog's life: The five-star celebrity pooch resort
Ever wondered what the stars do with their precious pooches when they need to rush off to shoot a new film?
Easy. The likes of Drew Barrymore, Jennifer Lopez and Sylvester Stallone hit speed dial and get the pet taxi from the Canyon View Ranch to come and pick them and whisk them off for a few weeks of luxury.
Because this five-acre wonderland for canines is not your run-of-the-mill kennel.
Set up ten years ago by award winning dog trainer Joe Timko and partner Randall Neece, it's paw-sitivley luxurious (sorry!).
'Everyone loves their dogs and when they go away want their pets to have as good a time as they do,' Randall explains.
At Canyon View Ranch they certainly get the must-have mutt treatment: there's underground tunnels to play hide and seek, ramps and hills to run around, and even bone-shaped swimming pools to splash about in.
What's more, there's an endless supply of staff to play ball, prepare their food and give them a daily health check. And let's not forget the grooming parlour, and air conditioning in their plush personal puppy pads.
It gives a whole new meaning to being in the doghouse!
