Cold Feet cast

Cold Feet returns this week, as do Mitchell and Webb with a new series called Back. The X Factor is hitting its stride and the latest installment of a classic sci-fi saga is available in the TalkTalk TV Store.

1. Doctor Foster - Tuesday at 9pm on BBC One

Suranne Jones reprises her starring role as the indefatigable GP, two years on from exposing her husband Simon's betrayals. However, when he arrives back in her life it will turn things upside down once more.

2. Back – Wednesday at 10pm on Channel 4

David Mitchell and Robert Webb return in a comedy written by Peep Show's Simon Blackwell, but as family this time, not friends. Following the death of his father, Stephen (Mitchell) is set to take over the family pub but his plans are interrupted when Andrew (Webb), a former foster child briefly raised by Stephen's parents, returns eager to reunite with the only family he has ever known.

3. Cold Feet - Friday at 9pm on ITV1

The classic comedy returned to much acclaim after a 13-year break last year and now comes a seventh series looking to build on its success. The story will pick up 10 months on from last year's finale, which saw Adam Williams (James Nesbitt) finally confess his feelings for Tina (Leanne Best) at his fake 50th birthday party. Will they be together?

4. The X Factor - Saturday at 8pm on ITV1

Last Saturday saw the return of ITV's flagship talent show and a proliferation of Ed Sheeran-based auditions (see video above). Will Simon Cowell and co. be able to unearth another Leona Lewis or One Direction in this their fourteenth series?

5. Alien Covenant (15) on the TalkTalk TV Store

On-demand viewers can now download and watch this sci-fi horror from Ridley Scott through their TalkTalk TV boxes or online via the TalkTalk TV Store.
