Less than a week after Hurricane Idalia left parts of North Florida underwater and without power, Tropical Storm Lee reached hurricane status on Wednesday, Sept. 6, and forecasts show the storm strengthening to a major hurricane with winds greater than 110 mph by Friday and possibly a Category 4 storm by the end of the week.
