Nike unveils Air Zoom Pegasus 38 college collection

Right in time for the start of college football season and the new school year, Nike has unveiled a collection of their fan-favorite Air Zoom Pegasus 38 sneakers splashed with 20 university logos and colors.

Among the schools represented are the LSU Tigers, Clemson Tigers, Virginia Cavaliers, Michigan Wolverines and of course, reigning national champions Alabama Crimson Tide. All sneakers boast the same design, save for actual colors and emblems.

A college's primary shade can be found on the forefoot and the other on the heel. You'll also find a small school logo on the lateral heel, directly behind the rear point of the large, outlined Swoosh. The design also follows into the sneaker's insole with a repeating print, some color and tiny Swooshes below the medial heel and fun detailing near the laces.

Performance highlights in the shoe include Nike React foam for a lightweight, springy and durable stride, a Zoom Air unit for more bounce with every step and finally, midfoot webbing that provides a snug fit when you tighten the laces.

This year’s Nike Pegasus 38 NCAA shoes are a perfect way to get ready for the 17th annual College Colors Day on September 3rd. The national holiday encourages fans everywhere to rock their colors and share their pride across social media using the hashtag #CollegeColorsDay.
