NFL player prop of the day: Don't miss out on Mark Andrews

A fun game to play at parties is "Name a red-zone receiving threat for the Ravens other than Mark Andrews." (I don't get invited to a lot of parties.)

The Ravens' receiving game runs through their star tight end, especially when they get inside the opponent's 20-yard line. That's why I like Andrews to score more than 6.5 receiving touchdowns on BetMGM.

Marking his territory

Since 2019, Andrews has led the Ravens in targets, accounted for 26% of their receiving touchdowns, and is the co-leader among all NFL tight ends with 12 red-zone touchdowns. Lamar Jackson's favorite target is a central part of the Ravens' offense and they just paid him like it.

Andrews will be relied on even more now that star running back J.K. Dobbins is out for the season with a torn ACL and rookie receiver Rashod Bateman is on injured reserve following core-muscle surgery.

The only games Andrews has missed in his three-year NFL career were two games last season when he contracted COVID and a Week 17 game in 2019 when the Ravens rested key starters against the Steelers. This season, he gets to play eight games against linebacking corps that rank in the bottom seven of PFF's unit rankings.

This team will see a slight dip in efficiency without Dobbins, but they should still be visiting the red-zone often, thanks to Jackson's legs and the fact that Gus Edwards is a pretty good running back in his own right. I expect Andrews to continue being Jackson's favorite red-zone target and to pile up more touchdowns on his impressive resume.
