Hanoi child survives fall from high-rise balcony

A toddler in Vietnam has survived falling from the 12th floor of an apartment building in Vietnam's capital Hanoi after a 'superhero' delivery driver caught the child.

The driver Nguyen Ngoc Manh suffered only a sprain on his leg and the girl was taken to the hospital. She is said to have broken an arm and a leg but is stable.

“I couldn’t believe I saved the girl’s life,” the driver said.

Video captured by a resident of a nearby building shows the three-year-old girl clinging onto the balcony of the apartment before falling.
