The world's best big wave surfers are back in Portugal as 2020's Nazare Tow Surfing Challenge officially opens.

And thanks to a massive North Atlantic swell caused by Hurricane Epsilon, this year's waves look set to be some of the biggest on record.

Hundreds of spectators have already gathered to watch death-defying attempts to brave the waves.
