Gronkowski not looking to come out of retirement

Rob Gronkowski insists he will not be coming out of retirement despite rumours he could return to the NFL.

Former New England Patriots tight end Gronkowski, who turned 30 in May, announced his retirement in March after nine seasons in the league.

He won three Super Bowls in that time and leads the Patriots all-time for touchdowns.

But Gronkowski is not interested in adding to his legacy, addressing the possibility of a comeback as he returned to Gillette Stadium for a charity event.

"Oh man... whatever I say, it doesn't matter," he told the Boston Herald. "It will always be crazy out there. You can put them to rest."

Asked to set the recond straight, Gronkowski added: "I just did, yes. I'm feeling good, I'm in a good place. It's great to be back, though.
