Is this one of the luckiest penalties ever scored?

A young footballer's luck was well and truly in as his penalty ricocheted in off the bar in extraordinary fashion.

Diego Campillo was playing for Chivas' under-17 side against Lobos BUAP when the game went to a penalty shoot-out.

He appeared to have made a mess of his spot-kick as the ball soared up off the bar and away from goal.

But somehow the ball swerved back towards goal and dropped out of the sky to bounce and spin over the line.

"Incredible" was all the Mexican commentator could say – and perhaps all anybody could say.
