Folau breaks Super Rugby try-scoring record
Israel Folau became Super Rugby's outright record try-scorer when he touched down in the first half for the Waratahs against the Blues on Saturday.
The Australia back had equalled Doug Howlett's tally of 59 against the Crusaders last month.
And Folau claimed try number 60 at Eden Park in his 96th game when he leapt to collect a high cross-field kick and dotted the ball down.
Still only 30, Folau has plenty of time to improve his haul and set a record that will be hard to break.
In true Izzy fashion, he plucks the ball from the air becoming the all-time Vodafone Super Rugby try scorer, taking over Doug Howlett.#BLUvWAR#fortheloveofrugby— NSW Waratahs (@NSWWaratahs) April 6, 2019

His latest try was a timely one for the Waratahs, after they had fallen 17-0 down inside 18 minutes against the Blues.
