Harper's first hit for Phillies is a 465-foot blast

Bryce Harper knows how to get a fan base's attention.

The 2015 National League MVP got his first hit as a Philadelphia Phillie since signing a 13-year, $330million deal with the team this offseason and he made it count.

Harper connected for a massive, upper-deck shot that came off the bat at 113.7mph against the Atlanta Braves on Saturday.

When all was said and done the ball flew an estimated 465 feet.

Harper was greeted with a smattering of boos when he struck out with a runner in scoring position in the Phillies' season opener.
