Rams to re-sign LB Fowler

The Los Angeles Rams are bringing Dante Fowler Jr. back, agreeing to a new deal with the outside linebacker.

Terms of the pending contract were not disclosed, but according to NFL Network, it is a one-year deal.

Fowler, the number three overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars, was traded to the Rams midway through last season.

He recorded a total of four sacks in 2018, but excelled in the postseason, recording 1.5 sacks, four tackles for loss, and three quarterback hits.

Los Angeles lost to the New England Patriots 13-3 in Super Bowl LIII and have made keeping their fearsome defense together a priority.
