Rockets star Harden expected to face Mavericks
James Harden is expected to be fit for the Houston Rockets' clash with the Dallas Mavericks on Sunday.
The Rockets had a scare when star guard went down with a wrist injury in Friday's victory against the Philadelphia 76ers.
However, the NBA MVP is set to face the Mavericks after getting the all clear to practice on Saturday following an X-ray.
"I was worried, but I'm happy it wasn't [bad news]." Harden is quoted as saying by the Houston Chronicle.
Harden, who recorded a double-double in the 107-91 win over the 76ers with 31 points and 10 rebounds, fell in the first half and briefly exited the game.
He first injured his wrist last Sunday in a win over the Boston Celtics and aggravated it during a seventh consecutive win for the Rockets.
Harden leads the NBA in scoring with 36.6 points a game and has been a staple in one of the league's top offenses.
