Daredevil soars through the skies in Italian Alps

Incredible footage captures the moment base jumper Fred Fugen leaps off a cliff and soars above the Aosta Valley in Italy.

What makes the film so remarkable, aside from the sheer daredevilry on show, is the amazing camera angel that shows Fugen's plunge head-on.

No camera is actually visible, but according to For The Win, the footage was filmed on a GoPro Fusion, a 360 camera featuring technology that paints out the camera and the mount in the footage it captures.
