Super Bowl-bound Rams set for London return, Chiefs to face Chargers in Mexico
The Los Angeles Rams will return to London next season, potentially as defending Super Bowl champions.
The schedule for the NFL games in London and Mexico City for 2019 was released on Monday, with the Rams set to play in the United Kingdom for the fourth time as they take on the Cincinnati Bengals.
That game will form part of a title defence if they beat the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LIII having defeated the New Orleans Saints in overtime in the NFC Championship game.
The Kansas City Chiefs, beaten in the AFC Championship game by the New England Patriots in overtime, will face the Los Angeles Chargers in Mexico City. The Chiefs had been scheduled to face the Rams at Estadio Azteca this season but poor field conditions saw the game moved back to Los Angeles.
A reunion between Chicago Bears star Khalil Mack and the Oakland Raiders will take place in London as they square off across the Atlantic, while the Jacksonville Jaguars will play their annual UK game against AFC South rivals the Houston Texans. This will mark the seventh year in a row the Jags have played in London.
Another divisional clash rounds off the London schedule, with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers facing the Carolina Panthers. Two of the London games will take place at Wembley and two will be held at Tottenham's new stadium..
