Hopefully I've got a few more in me! - Taylor pleased with 20th ODI century
Ross Taylor hopes the record-breaking 20th one-day international century he made for New Zealand against Sri Lanka on Tuesday is not his last.
Taylor equalled a national record by reaching a sixth successive ODI ffity before kicking on and becoming the first Black Caps batsman to reach 20 hundreds in any single format.
He was finally removed for 137 having put on 154 alongside Henry Nicholls, who finished unbeaten on 124, with New Zealand posting 364-4 and eventually winning by 115 runs to seal a 3-0 series sweep.
Taylor will turn 35 in March and hopes he can still go on and make more centuries for his country.
"It was nice to get the 20th hundred, I would have taken that at the start of my career," he said.
"I'm getting old, so hopefully I've got a few more in me!

"I felt okay out there, I've been hitting the ball alright, and it felt nice to get three figures.
"More often than not in New Zealand conditions you've just got to give yourself a bit of time and you can catch up, as we did today. It doesn't always work, but it's nice when it does."
While Taylor recorded his 20th ODI century, Nicholls reached his maiden limited-overs score of three figures.
And the 27-year-old paid tribute to Taylor, with the two having batted together for 20 overs in a crucial fourth-wicket stand.
"The consistency he has is testament to the experience and quality he has and it's great to be able to bat with him in the middle and see how he goes about it," Nicholls added.
"I learn from that every time I bat or train with him."
New Zealand have also confirmed that all-rounder Jimmy Neesham will miss the one-off Twenty20 with Sri Lanka on Friday having suffered a hamstring injury in the ODI, with Doug Bracewell called up as a replacement.
