Fireworks malfunction in Bolivian soccer stadium and go off into the stands

Bolivian fans of The Strongest football club were bidding farewell to their captain Pablo Escobar (no, not the Colombian drug lord!) when planned fireworks misfired and shot off randomly onto the pitch and into the stands.

The team were celebrating an 8-0 at Hernando Siles stadium in La Paz when fireworks started misfiring during their celebrations. The rockets sporadically launched in different directions, causing crowds of fans to scatter to avoid the low flying explosives.
