Peterson does not expect dislocated shoulder to keep him out

Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson has revealed he dislocated his shoulder against the New Orleans Saints, but does not expect to miss any games with the problem.

Peterson finished the Redskins' 43-19 loss with six yards on four carries and two receptions for 36 yards.

He told reporters after the game that he dislocated his shoulder at some point in the first half and he only played two snaps in the second half.

"It's not going to keep me out," Peterson said. "I came back into the game. It was just a situation where it was sore.

"I just thank god it wasn't worse."
