Seahawks star Thomas suffers leg fracture
Seattle Seahawks safety Earl Thomas fractured his left leg in Sunday's win against the Arizona Cardinals, head coach Pete Carroll confirmed.
Seahawks star Thomas – a six-time NFL Pro Bowl player – left the field on a cart in the fourth quarter.
As Thomas exited, the 29-year-old appeared to look at the Seahawks sideline and show his middle finger.
Following the 20-17 victory, Carroll said Thomas had a "lower leg fracture".
Thomas held out the entire preseason as he tried to land a new contract with Seattle. Upon finally reporting to play, he noted on social media that the Seahawks' "disrespect has been well noted and will not be forgotten."
The Super Bowl champion may have played his last game as a member of the Seahawks. He will be eligible for free agency after this season.
