Ryder Cup heading back in Europe's direction, says Niall Horan
Niall Horan has backed Europe to seal a narrow victory at Le Golf National this week and regain the Ryder Cup.
Former One Direction singer Horan – playing a celebrity event at the French course on Tuesday – is a close friend to a number of Thomas Bjorn's team and has previously caddied for Rory McIlroy on the Par-Three event at the Masters.
And he has backed the home side to come out triumphant on Sunday despite Team USA having an in-form Tiger Woods on their side.
"I'm excited for them, it's going to be an amazing week," he told Sky Sports News.
"It's the best players on the planet, and it is probably the strongest field for a long time, all top 10 are here!
"It's very exciting, it will be very tight, but with the way course is set up I think we [Europe] might get over the line."
