BREAKING NEWS: Koepka holds on to defend U.S. Open title
Brooks Koepka became the first man in 29 years to defend his U.S. Open title with victory at Shinnecock Hills on Sunday.
The American - tied for the lead heading into the final round - held on in New York for a second major victory.
Koepka held off Tommy Fleetwood, the Englishman having fired a U.S. Open record-equalling seven-under 63 to surge into contention.
With his win, Koepka became the first man since Curtis Strange (1988-1989) to defend the U.S. Open.
