Steelers trade WR Bryant to Raiders
The Pittsburgh Steelers were the first team in the NFL Draft to trade a player for a pick as they moved wide receiver Martavis Bryant to Oakland.
The team announced the deal during the first round on Thursday.
Oakland gave up a third-round pick (number 79) for Bryant.
Bryant was a fourth-round selection by the Steelers in 2014, but he missed all of 2016 when he was suspended for drug use and complained about not getting enough passes thrown his way in 2017.
The 26-year-old wide receiver caught 126 passes for 1,917 yards and 17 touchdowns in three active seasons with Pittsburgh.
