A sensational 66 on day two at Augusta means Patrick Reed is top of the 2018 Masters leaderboard heading into the weekend.

The American reeled off three runs of three birdies to take a two-shot advantage ahead of Marc Leishman, who hit one of the shots of the tournament en route to eagling the 15th.

Tiger Woods made the cut but would appear to be a fair way off challenging for the green jacket, but Jordan Speith, Rory McIlroy and Henrik Stenson will all think themselves in contention.

Fred Couples reached a personal milestone by securing his place for the final 36 holes, too, as a few famous faces from the game's past watched on.
