Parker: I'm ready for anything
Joseph Parker said he is "ready for anything" on the eve of his heavyweight unification showdown with Anthony Joshua in Cardiff.
Parker weighed in at 16st 12lbs 7oz on Friday, while WBA and IBF champion Joshua trimmed down to 17st 4lbs 2oz.
Joshua was 12lbs heavier when he stepped into the ring to defend his belts against Carlos Takam last October.
WBO strap holder Parker sees the Briton's drop in weight as an indication that he knows he will be in for a major battle at the Principality Stadium.
"Us being close in weight makes me think he is taking it seriously," said the New Zealander. "We are similar, we will both be fast and throwing bombs.
"I saw he is confident, I'm expecting a really good fight
"The first few rounds could go either way, depends who follows their game plan better - I'm ready for anything.
"I'm here for war, you'll have to do everything to beat me."
