Cordner signs bumper deal with Roosters
Boyd Cordner has signalled his intention to see out his NRL career with Sydney Roosters after signing a five-year deal worth a reported AU$850,000 per season.
Cordner was a member of the Roosters' premiership vintage of 2013 and scored the only try of the game as Australia beat England 6-0 in last year's World Cup final.
The NSW Origin captain has made 126 appearances for the Roosters, scoring 38 tries, since making his debut in June 2011 and the second-rower is looking ahead to more success at Allianz Stadium.
"It's a place where I've been since I was a kid and honestly I couldn't see myself playing anywhere else," Cordner told NRL360.
"I've been blessed with so many memories and opportunities in my time with the Roosters. I've grown up there. I came down as a boy and grew into a man.
"It's a great club. I love the memories I've had so far and I can't wait to create many more."
