Golden Knights sign Marchessault to six-year deal

The Vegas Golden Knights have locked up center Jonathan Marchessault to a long-term deal.

Marchessault signed a six-year contract worth $30million, the Golden Knights announced on Wednesday.

The 27-year-old joined the Golden Knights in the expansion draft after scoring 30 goals and adding 21 assists last season with the Florida Panthers.

Marchessault has scored 15 goals and added 22 assists this season as the Golden Knights hold the best record in the Western Conference at 27-9-2.

While Marchessault went undrafted, he has steadily improved every season he has been in the NHL.
