Former NBA player Charlie Villanueva never played for the Kings, yet someone has stolen his throne.
Villanueva reported via social media on Tuesday night that a toilet had been taken from his home in Dallas, where he finished his 11-year career with the Mavericks, during a burglary.
"They stole my toilet," tweeted the 33-year-old, adding: "I'm not making this s*** up."
As he bemoaned the response from the Dallas Police Department, Villanueva twice used the hashtag #findmytoilet, sparking some predictably amusing replies.
One Twitter user suggested an image had been released of the prime suspects as they shared a picture of Home Alone bad guys 'Harry and Marv', played by Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern.
Villanueva was up bright and early on Wednesday, still dumbfounded by the thieves' choice of targets.
"I'm still in shock of [sic] the things they stole, but the one that stand out the most is a toilet," he wrote on Twitter. "Bro a toilet, can't get my mind off that. A toilet ... Wow."
