Siemian suffers shoulder injury, Osweiler in for Broncos

Brock Osweiler took over at quarterback for the Denver Broncos late in the first quarter of Thursday's game in Indianapolis after Trevor Siemian injured his shoulder.

Siemian suffered a left shoulder injury after getting sacked by linebacker Barkevious Mingo on third-and-goal from the Colts' seven-yard line.

Siemian was rolling to his right when Mingo chased him from behind and dropped him. Siemian's fall was broken by his left forearm, which rippled when he hit the turf. Siemian's left shoulder absorbed the impact of the fall.

Siemian was carted to the locker room before being ruled out for the remainder of the game.

The Colts also lost reserve tight end Brandon Williams, who was carted off early in the second quarter with a possible neck injury.
