There's snow rugby for Saracens as Clermont clash called off
The rematch of May's European Champions Cup final between Saracens and Clermont Auvergne was postponed due to snow on Sunday.
Sarries beat the Top 14 side in last season's showpiece, winning 28-17, and were drawn in the same pool for this campaign's tournament.
But Clermont's first opportunity to get revenge in Pool 2 will have to wait after the adverse weather at Allianz Park led to the game being called off.
A statement read: "Saracens can confirm that their round three European Rugby Champions Cup fixture versus ASM Clermont Auvergne has been postponed due to the adverse weather conditions surrounding Allianz Park.
"The club is currently liaising directly with EPCR regarding further details and fans are advised not to travel to Allianz Park."
