Ronnie O'Sullivan pulled level with Steve Davis on six UK Championship titles and clinched a record-equalling 18th major crown thanks to a 10-5 victory over Shaun Murphy on Sunday,
Having won his maiden ranking title at the 1993 UK Championship aged just 17, O'Sullivan has now matched the record of seven-time world champion Stephen Hendry in snooker's three biggest tournaments.
O'Sullivan has five world titles and seven wins at the Masters to go with his six UK crowns.
The 42-year-old was locked at 5-5 with 2008 champion Murphy before racing clear in the second session of the final in York.
O'Sullivan will go in search of an eighth Masters title and the outright record in snooker's Triple Crown at Alexandra Palace in January, taking on Marco Fu in the first round.
