An eagle on the 17th hole helped Sean O'Hair and Steve Stricker claim victory in the QBE Shootout on Sunday.
O'Hair and Stricker, who combined for a stunning 57 in the scramble format on Friday, headed into the third and final round of the unofficial PGA Tour event level with Shane Lowry and Graeme McDowell.
The latter duo initially made the running by pulling two clear through seven holes, but O'Hair and Stricker signed for a better-ball 64 to triumph by two shots on 26 under.
Their victory was effectively sealed when O'Hair eagled the penultimate hole following a superb approach to around 12 feet.
Both O'Hair and Stricker had won this event before, but with different partners. Prior to Sunday, neither man had won on the PGA Tour since 2012.
"We just really gelled well together," Stricker told NBC. "We fed off that first day quite a bit and felt comfortable with each other.

Lowry and McDowell's 66 saw them finish two clear of Pat Perez and Brian Harman (64), with a further three pairings sharing fourth on 21 under.
