England's Six Nations preparations have been dealt a further blow with the news Leicester Tigers prop Ellis Genge is set for "a couple of months" out with a shoulder injury.
It has been a frustrating week for Eddie Jones with Genge's injury coming soon after influential lock Maro Itoje was named a doubt with a fractured jaw.
The pair join Manu Tuilagi, Nathan Hughes, Ben Te'o and Billy Vunipola on the sidelines.
Like Itoje, Genge will require surgery to correct the problem he sustained in the first half of Saturday's 32-25 defeat against Wasps.
After undergoing checks to determine the extent of the 22-year-old's injury, Leicester confirmed he would need to go under the knife - making him a doubt for England's Six Nations opener with Italy in eight weeks.
"We've had the results of the scan back and Ellis is going to need some minor surgery which will mean a couple of months out of the game," said Tigers head coach Matt O'Connor.
"It's obviously very disappointing for him and for us because he has been outstanding so far this season and has been in the England squad during the autumn.
"But we will look forward to his return in due course."
