Gelant, Du Preez handed first Sprinboks starts
Warrick Gelant and Dan du Preez will make their first starts for South Africa in Saturday's Test against Wales.
Exciting Bulls winger Gelant made his Springboks debut in last week's win over Italy and is named in the starting XV on the left wing in place of Courtnall Skosan in Cardiff.
Du Preez also comes in as one of five changes to the starting line-up, taking the place of Duane Vermeulen at number eight.
There are three other changes in the forwards, with Malcolm Marx named at hooker in place of Bongi Mbonambi, Siya Kolisi returns from paternal leave to take over from Francois Louw at flanker, and Steven Kitshoff replaces the injured Tendai Mtawarira (groin) at prop.
"Warrick is an elusive runner, he used his opportunity last week and I am looking forward to see him getting a start on Saturday," head coach Allister Coetzee said.
"It is great to welcome Malcolm back, however, Bongi did a superb job against Italy and I expect the same performance from him when he comes on later in the game."
Louw and Vermeulen have returned to Bath and Toulon respectively, as the fixture takes place outside of the international window.
