The Circuit of the Americas played host to a memorable spectacle before Sunday's United States Grand Prix had even begun as Michael Buffer and Usain Bolt contributed to outlandish pre-race scenes in Austin.
Iconic MC Buffer, renowned for introducing boxers to the ring in theatrical fashion, was responsible for presenting the various drivers to the crowd shortly before the race.
As a result, the likes of Fernando Alonso, Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton - who can win a fourth world title this weekend - heard their names read out like never before.
Further star quality was then provided by retired athletics superstar Bolt, who was duly responsible for getting the formation lap under way following Buffer's typically flamboyant performance.
However, it seems not everyone was impressed by Buffer's involvement, with former F1 world champion Jenson Button tweeting a 'blushing face' emoji as the somewhat unorthodox introductions unfolded.
