The New Orleans Saints' struggling defense could be even worse against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
New Orleans will travel to Carolina without cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore (concussion) and Sterling Moore (chest), the team announced on Friday.
Lattimore was the Saints' first-round pick in this year's NFL Draft, while Moore surprised as a reliable slot corner last season.
The Saints are currently last in the NFL in yards allowed per game (512.5), and last in passing yards per game at 388.5.
Without Lattimore and Moore in the lineup, Carolina should have a field day in front of their home crowd.
Cam Newton is currently questionable to face the Saints, but the struggling quarterback should play and be ready to get his season moving in the right direction.
The Saints will also be without starting offensive tackles Terron Armstead (shoulder) and Zach Strief (knee).
