Spieth turns things round spectacularly to win Open thriller

Jordan Spieth won the 146th Open Championship by three strokes from Matt Kuchar following a hugely dramatic final round at Royal Birkdale.

Three clear of Kuchar overnight, Spieth struggled badly for much of Sunday, but suddenly regained his form upon salvaging an unlikely bogey on 13 - where he eventually took a drop on the practice ground after a wild drive had landed in heavy rough to the right of the fairway.

Spieth incredibly picked up five shots over the next four holes to regain control, before a par at the last secured his third major title with a winning score of 12 under par, four days before he turns 24.
