Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers is having one of the most entertaining summers in sports. His beef with the Ball family netted national attention and a $10,000 fine before he caught a souvenir at the MLB Home Run Derby.
Now the poster boy for 'The Process' in Philly is tackling his NBA 2K18 rating, which is an unacceptable 86.
"That's bull crap. I'm not going to curse. I just got fined," Embiid said. "I'm definitely going to bump it up to 95 during the season."
Embiid was told his rating after rattling off all the reasons he should have a 95 rating -- a feat only accomplished by LeBron James on last year's version of the popular video game.
However, if Embiid can stay healthy and improve upon his average of 20.2 points and 7.8 rebounds from 2016-17, a 90 rating shouldn't be out of the question come next summer.
