Markelle Fultz has calmed fears over his ankle sprain amid reports his injury has been downgraded.
Fultz, selected with the top pick in the NBA Draft by the Philadelphia 76ers, had to be helped off the court and was unable to put any weight on his left ankle after landing awkwardly while trying to block a shot in his team's Summer League game against the Golden State Warriors.
His injury was initially believed to be a high ankle sprain but ESPN reported it has now been downgraded to a regular left ankle sprain.
Fultz is reportedly walking without trouble but will likely not play again in Summer League.
And he took Twitter to reassure fans, posting: "I'm ok, thank you for all who where worried!"
