The NRL's leading points-scorer Michael Gordon has signed a new one-year contract with Sydney Roosters.
Gordon joined the Roosters from Parramatta Eels and has proved to be a shrewd acquisition.
The 33-year-old full-back leads the way with 128 points in the NRL this season and has been rewarded with a deal for next season.
"Since day one, everyone at the Roosters has made me and my family feel welcome and at home, so that's a big reason I'm pleased to be extending my time here," Gordon said.
"From a footy perspective, I still feel like the body is really good and I've got something to offer. I'm enjoying my footy and being part of the team here at the Roosters."
James Tedesco's switch from Wests Tigers to link up with the Roosters is expected to result in Gordon being employed on the wing.
