Major League Baseball suspended Los Angeles Dodgers manager Dave Roberts for Saturday's game with the San Diego Padres and handed him an undisclosed fine.
The discipline stems from an incident during Friday's game between the Dodgers and Padres when Roberts confronted Padres manager Andy Green for having his team apparently steal signs during the first inning.
Roberts was not happy and showed more than a little bit of emotion which resulted in the suspension and fine.
Green, along with Dodgers starting pitcher Alex Wood, also received undisclosed fines.
MLB chief baseball officer Joe Torre handed down the punishments and Roberts is not expected to appeal his suspension.
Friday's ejection was the first of Roberts' managerial career.
Green was also ejected from Friday's 10-4 Dodgers win.
