Dominant New Zealand increase America's Cup lead
Emirates Team New Zealand forged further ahead on day two of the 35th America's Cup with another clean sweep of Sunday's races in Bermuda.
Having started the final one point in arrears due to Oracle Team USA's success in the qualifying regatta, New Zealand won each of Saturday's two races to claim an early advantage in the best-of-13 series.
And it was a similar story on Sunday, Peter Burling helping his crew to further victories to secure a 3-0 lead.
An early mistake in race three proved costly for the US team and they were unable to fight back as their rivals triumphed by almost a minute.
New Zealand's boat speed was again superior in race four, with Jimmy Spithill's American crew essentially left to wait for a mistake that never came.
Team USA can take heart from the fact they came from 8-1 down to sensationally win the 2013 America's Cup.
The contest will resume next Saturday, with races five and six.
