New South Wales Blues will be unchanged for the second instalment of the State of Origin series after coach Laurie Daley opted to stick with the squad that delivered a stunning 28-4 victory last time around.
The Blues ran in five tries in a demolition job at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, with James Maloney contributing 12 points and Andrew Fifita turning in a man-of-the-match display against Queensland Maroons.
NSW can wrap up the series on home soil in Sydney a week on Wednesday and Daley is delighted to be able to call on the players who produced such a glittering display in the opener.
"It's great to be able to name the same 17 guys again, obviously they did such a great job in game one," Daley said.
"The key for us is to try and repeat that performance.
"[Naming the same side] allows you to have smoother preparations in terms of the week, guys coming back in, they know the structure and the systems.
"It's about improving on what we've done. By having the same team, it allows you the luxury of having those guys, being more comfortable in the structure that we have."
