Oscar De La Hoya has backed Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez to knock out Gennady Golovkin inside 10 rounds when the duo go head-to-head in Las Vegas in September.
On Monday, the T-Mobile Arena in Vegas was confirmed as the venue for Alvarez and Golovkin's long-awaited bout.
Middleweight king Golovkin is undefeated in 37 fights, but De La Hoya, Alvarez's promoter, is confident his man can send the Kazakh to the canvas.
De La Hoya told ES News: "It's Canelo's era - and we feel very confident that our guy Canelo Alvarez is going to show up in the best shape ever, with confidence, and I'm calling knockout, I'm calling knockout within 10 rounds.
"This is the fight everyone wants to see and everybody has been wanting to see for the last year and a half.
"It's finally here and we're happy that it can be in Las Vegas."
