Mike Tyson rubbished suggestions a fight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Conor McGregor would ruin boxing, but believes it would be one sided.
UFC star McGregor is being given little chance of winning his expected boxing match against the undefeated Mayweather.
Some have gone so far as to say the potential fight would ruin boxing, but former heavyweight champion Tyson does not agree with that sentiment.
"[McGregor] doesn't win in a boxing match," Tyson told Sirius XM 93, via the New York Post.
"I don't believe it can ruin boxing at all," Tyson added.
"Only way it can ruin boxing is if McGregor goes and boxes Floyd because he's going to look really ridiculous boxing him.
"But if he goes in there with the UFC stuff, now this could be pretty interesting."
McGregor has signed his deal to fight Mayweather, but there is still work to do if the bout is to happen.
