Donald, DeLaet share RBC Heritage lead

Luke Donald and Graham DeLaet carded four-under 67s to share the lead at the halfway mark of the RBC Heritage.

Donald is a regular contender at Harbour Town Golf Links and the Englishman appears set to challenge once more.

The former world number one is winless since 2013, but has finished second four times and third twice in eight starts at the PGA Tour event.

Donald and DeLaet are at 10 under, two shots clear of England's Ian Poulter (68) and American Webb Simpson (68).

Now ranked 96th in the world, Donald mixed five birdies with a bogey - at the par-four 11th - in his second round.

Canada's DeLaet was similar, although a birdie at the eighth and eagle at the par-four ninth kick-started his round.

Overnight leader Bud Cauley slipped into a tie for fifth after shooting a one-over 72.

The American is alongside Pat Perez (67), Jason Dufner (67), Nick Taylor (66) and Sam Saunders (70).

Defending champion Branden Grace produced another solid round, his 71 keeping him at three under alongside 2014 winner Matt Kuchar (71).

Jim Furyk, a two-time champion, was not so lucky as he carded a 74 to miss the cut by a shot.

Ernie Els and Vijay Singh - who share seven majors between - and 2016 Masters champion Danny Willett also failed to make it to the weekend.
